The Live Help Server Software and Live Help Messenger Desktop application has been updated to v3.50 This new release is a major upgrade that adds server-side responses, tagged responses / commands, browsing visitor alerts within chat transcripts and an improved user interface. Download access is available within the customer area.
Upgrade instructions are shown below if you currently have the Live Help Server Software v3.30 installed. Any installations below v3.30 will need to complete a re-installation using an empty MySQL database.
| Backup your current /livehelp directory | |
| Upload the v3.50 /livehelp directory excluding the /livehelp/include/database.php file | |
| Sign-in to the Live Help Messenger Windows application | |
| When you sign-in, an automatic transparent upgrade will occur | |
| Sign-out of the Live Help Messenger Windows application | |
| Delete the /livehelp/install/ directory | |
| Upgrade completed |

Please Note: If you participated in the v3.5 Live Help Beta release then you will need to completely reinstall the Live Help Server Software and Windows application. Please uninstall the Live Help Messenger Desktop application from the Add/Remove Programs within the Windows Control Panel and ensure the installation directory has been completely deleted from your PC. Furthermore you will need to fully re-install the Live Help Server software using an empty MySQL database – the upgrade option is not available from the beta release.
